Berry Heart Muffins.

These muffins are so quick to whip up! I love making them with breakfast in the morning or as a special treat. My toddler, James, and my husband love these muffins! I started making them a Valentine’s Day staple a few years ago when I found this cute muffin pan at Walmart!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup milk (room temp)
  • 2 large eggs (room temp)
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/4 cup raspberries (or blueberries whatever you like!)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Toss together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon
  3. Whisk eggs, both sugars, milk, oil and vanilla
  4. Fold wet ingredients into dry
  5. Fold in chocolate chips
  6. Fold in berries
  7. Bake for 5 minutes
  8. Turn down oven to 375 for about 25 minutes
  9. Cool 10 minutes

Let me know in the comments if you LOVEE muffins! I love making these with my son. They are almost impossible to mess up, so it doesn’t matter if things get a little messy! As they do with a toddler (:
